5 days with Lion

Last Saturday, I finally made the leap from Snow Leopard to Lion on my Mac. I had always been planing to do this after this years Nanowrimo, but since I’ve failed at that this year, there was no point in holding off till December.

Langtons Ant runs again

In my last post, I bemoaned the complexity of modern programming environments and worried that this would stop young programers from learning by just ‘playing’.
I still stand by what I said there, but at least now I’ve got my little ‘play’ project to run.

A very cool idea indeed!

But it’s back now!

Excel and Numbers

There is no point in denying it, I am a spreadsheet geek (as well as being all sorts of other geeks as well!) So when someone on line, asked me which was better on the Mac, Excel or Numbers, I couldn’t resist, putting my throughs down on paper (screen!?)
